A really nice limerick dear Kirsten! Top marks! Here is my favourite whichI learnt in England:
A gentleman dining at crew,
found quite a large mouse in his stew.
Said the waiter,”Don’t shout!
Or wave it about!
Or the rest will be wanting one too.”
And my shortest one:
“There once was a bard from Hong Kong
Who thought limericks were too long”.
