I acknowledge those who have carefully, thoughtfully come to opposing views, but I will be voting “Yes!” (If the “survey” goes ahead) because “duh”, including:
* I want a more just, inclusive, equal society
* I have seen good, faithful (Christian) friends find joy and peace in same-sex marriages in other jurisdictions
* I’d prefer life to be easier, not tougher, for young LGBTIQ people and children with LGBTIQ parents
* I don’t see any reason for the state to preclude SSM if it authorises any marriage
* I believe (in my frail, doubty way) that God is love
* I can’t see any downside and can see a big upside for those most affected
